What is gratitude?

Gratitude is a process which makes you aware of the good things in your life. It inspires you to do more good deeds and at the same time gives you a sense of self-realization of valuable things that are already existing in your life. you can understand the power of gratitude once you will start practising it in your daily routine.

Why you should practice gratitude?

There are n numbers of reasons that why you should practice gratitude. The more you practice the more benefits you will acknowledge. It changes your thought process in such a way that you can actually feel these gifts of life that how the happiest and meaningful things in life are free. It gives you a sense of belonging and helps you connect with people on a spiritual level. It transitions you to see life not as it is but what it can be.

  • It makes you aware of the minute achievements of your life which you thought of as inconsequential because you stopped giving thought to ‘you’.

Steps for practicing gratitude:

1.    First buy a journal, to write gratitude every day.

2.    You can also use notebook apps available in your smartphone for this practice.

3.    Start writing with three good things happen in a day or thing you are grateful for such as you can be grateful for getting up early in a morning or you can be grateful that your friend called today or you may be grateful that you ate healthy food today, just start focusing on these small achievements of your life. Once you start realizing that these small good things. You will get to know that you have plenty of reasons to be happy. you will slowly realize the power of gratitude in daily life.

4.    it’s actually a spiritual ritual that will allow you to connect with your inner self, it makes you realize how abundant you are.

5.    Whenever you feel low and negative just open this gratitude journal it will uplift your mood.

6.    If you are fond of voice recording then you can record these things and keep collecting them. When later you hear these recordings it will bring an innocent smile on your face.
