Meditation is a healthy exercise for the brain and body to become aware of our senses and our surrounding.

I am sharing my four ways of incorporating meditation exercise in daily life.

Soothing Music:

Music is a very powerful tool to create an ambiance, just by changing the tempo of the music you change the feel of the space. There is a variety of music you can listen to create a tranquil environment such as soft piano music or sound of the flowing river.

If you are someone who lives nearby to a river or jungle you can enjoy the live music of nature. You can find many other options for meditation music on YouTube. After finding a piece of music that connects with your vibes, find comfortable seating and sit quietly and then relax your body. Close your eyes and focus on music and just immerse yourself in music for a few minutes. Take your time and then open your eyes. You will find yourself in a relaxed state.

Favorite Spots

I am sure that you also have experienced that there are few places where you feel more connected with yourself, where you feel good. Maybe because of the moments you spent there or maybe it’s just the aura of the place that connects with you.

My, advice is here that do visit these places. Whenever you visit your favorite spot, quietly sit, and spend some time there. Absorb the vibes of the surrounding. Notice little details such as sounds, peoples that run that place, architecture, and revive your good memories. This is also a form of meditation.

Observe your sense organs

take a break from daily routine such as not eating food and talk or watch videos at the same time. For example, when you are eating your food focus on your eating process and observe small details, you can start by observing the appearance of food then smell the aroma of the food. then take a bite of food and feel the texture while it rolling in your mouth and observe what notes you are perceiving on your tongues such as sweet, sour salty, or any other note. To begin with, do this activity once a week and enjoy life in a slow mode.

Morning bath

Morning is the best time when we feel very refreshed and that started with taking a bath. Do you enjoy bathing or you just do it to complete your getting-ready routine? If you are not enjoying your bath then add 5 min more in your bathing time. So what you have to do is to feel the temperature of the water when it touches your skin it cools down the temperature of our body and notices small drops that are flowing very fast from your hands and start enjoying your bath. You can do this daily or you can do it at the weekend whatever suits you. Using good aroma mist diffuser in your bathroom and a piece of good background music can help you to enjoy even more.

These are my small ideas to enjoy the process of meditation in the daily routine you don’t require any special learning class to perform them, anyone can do them and add them in their daily habits. Meditation exercise is one of the important steps to connect with your inner soul and surrounding. Just give it a try and see what happen!
