The meaning of intention in a dictionary is “a thing intended; an aim or a plan”. The intention is just a word but if we are able to understand the power of intention, it can change our world. the setting intention with the right mindset, we can create a system that simply allows us to achieve our goals.

There are times when you realize that you have to make certain changes in daily routine, but that might be just a thought which comes in your mind and then goes away after few talks and you again get busy in life with other chaos.

When we talk about a goal or a habit that we really want to achieve then we have to set intentions in that direction means you have to create a system that will allow you to make this process easier and adaptable.

For example, if you want to go to the gym every day in the morning without getting late and without missing days in a week.

Do the following things to create a system:

  1. Keep your gym wear ready for the next day.
  2. Keep your running shoes ready.
  3. Put your keys at the visible place so that you don’t need to search them in the morning.
  4. Sleep at right time, set reminder alarms for both night and morning, which will make you aware in the night that you have to sleep at right time and in the morning it will wake you up at right time.
  5. Soak few dry fruits in the water a night before and take out fruit from the refrigerator for a morning snack that you have to eat before going gym in the morning and also fill a bottle with fresh water for the workout.

These are few small things, which will make you ready for daily workout, in this way you won’t feel any pressure in the morning and you don’t need to rush in the morning for searching thing and going gym without eating and without hydrating. Doing workout is a process, will give better results only if done in the right way.

Let’s talk about one more example. If you want to eat healthy and cook your own food, do the following things to create a system:

  1. Make a rough food chart, where you will write down what you will eat on which day.
  2. Then make two lists of required ingredients for cooking– A) Essential Ingredients list such as Oil, Salt, Spices and sauces, etc. B) Green vegetable, Pulses, fruits, and grains.
  3. List A is for only first-time purchases that you don’t need to write again every week because ingredient will stay for a longer period of time, you just need to restock them whenever they will be finished.
  4. Whereas for list B you have to visit your local market or grocery store at least once in a week.
  5. Buy fresh fruit and vegetables in the required quantity because they are very perishable hence they will start spoiling within a week.
  6. Wash all the fruits and Vegetables and kept them in the refrigerator.
  7. Whenever you have free time do peeling and chopping of ingredients and use them in one or two days.
  8. Boil thick vegetables earlier and stored them in the freezer for instant use, it will reduce cooking time, such as green beans, broccoli, carrot, and potato, etc.
  9. Whenever you are packing your lunch always keep one or two fruits with your lunch box.
  10. People who are a beginner can start with easy recipes.
