What is Infused tea?

Infused tea has a black or green tea base and infusion of a leaf, a flower, spices, or any fruits. These infused ingredients have a particular flavor and aroma that enhances the taste of the drink. Usually, the flavoring ingredients are kept in hot water to develop a particular note in the final drink.

The best part of Infused tea is that they can be easily altered based on your mood and weather. Depending on the types of fruits and herbs grow in your area, you can convert these tea recipes into your own personal customize recipes.

How to make infused tea

Orange Rosemary ice tea

Ingredients

Black tea bags on amazon- 4

Orange zest- 2 tsp dried/4 tsp fresh

Rosemary- use as per your preference

Sweetener- stevia/honey/agave syrup

Orange- 1

Water- 1 liter

Ice- to serve

Orange infused tea

Direction

  1. Heat approx. 500 ml of water.
  2. Put tea bags in hot water and also add orange zest and rose merry.
  3. Steep the mixture for 5-7 minutes.
  4. Then strain the mixture and transfer it in a heat resistible glass jar/Pitcher.
  5. Add sweetener in the mixture and stir it properly.
  6. After that, add approx. 500 ml chilled water and mix the drink.
  7. Add orange pieces inside the pitcher and kept it inside the freezer for another 30 minutes.
  8. After 30 minutes, take out the pitcher from freeze and serve.
  9. Add some ice cubes and a piece of orange in a glass and pour infused tea mix in glasses.
  10. Garnish the drink with a slice of orange and enjoy the summer.

Note: You can reduce the steep time if you like the light flavor of black tea.

Peach mint ice tea

Ingredients

Black tea bags – 4

Peach- 3 big size

Mint- 15-20 leaves

Sweetener- stevia/honey/agave syrup

Water- 1 liter

Ice- to serve

Peach infused tea

Direction

  1. Heat approx. 500 ml of water.
  2. Put tea bags in hot water.
  3. Crush mint leaves and add them in hot water
  4. Steep the mixture for 5 minutes.
  5. Then strain the mixture and transfer it in a heat resistible glass jar/Pitcher.
  6. Add sweetener in the mixture and stir it properly.
  7. After that, add approx. 500 ml chilled water and mix the drink.
  8. Add sliced peaches inside the pitcher and kept it inside the freezer for another 30 minutes.
  9. It will release the flavor of peach in the ice tea.
  10. After 30 minutes, take out the pitcher from freeze and serve.
  11. Add some ice cubes and a slice of peach in a glass and pour infused tea mix in glasses.
  12. Garnish the drink with a mint leave.

Lemon ginger-infused tea

Ingredients

Black tea bags – 4

Lemon- 3 big size

Ginger- 2-3 pieces

Sweetener- honey/Agave syrup

Water- 1 liter

Ice- to serve

  1. Heat approx. 500 ml of water.
  2. Put tea bags in hot water.
  3. Finely cut ginger and add them in hot water.
  4. Steep the mixture for 5 minutes.
  5. Then strain the mixture and transfer it in a heat resistible glass jar/Pitcher.
  6. Add sweetener in the mixture and stir it properly.
  7. After that, add approx. 500 ml chilled water and mix the drink.
  8. After 30 minutes, take out the pitcher from freeze and serve.
  9. Add some ice cubes and squeeze half lemon in a glass and pour infused tea mix in glasses.
  10. Garnish the drink with a mint leave.

Hot infused tea

An orange lemon peel ice tea for summer

INGREDIENT (2 Serving)

  1. Water – 2 Cup (250 ml)
  2. Orange zest- 1 tablespoon
  3. Lemon- half
  4. Stevia/ honey/Agave Syrup
  5. Black tea bag- 1

Direction

1. Peel the orange zest from a fresh orange peel or use dry orange peel

2.. Take a cup of water in a pan and add 1 tsp of fresh orange zest.

3. Simmer for 5 minutes at low heat, then keep aside for 5 minutes.

4. After 5 minutes, dip a tea bag in the mixture and leave for 5 minutes.

5. Then strains the orange zest extract in a glass.

6. Add stevia or honey in a glass to sweeten the drink.

7. Stir the mixture and squeeze half lemon in the mixture.

8. Add chilled water as per your preference.

9. Garnish the drink with a slice of orange in a glass.

10. Consume immediately.

Orange peel tea with green tea

INGREDIENT (2 Serving)

  1. Water – 2 Cup (250ml)
  2. Orange zest- 1 tablespoon
  3. Green tea- half teaspoon
  4. Stevia- 2 ½ scoop/Sachet or honey
Orange peel green tea

Direction

  1. Peel orange zest from a fresh orange peel.
  2. Take a cup of water in a pan and add 1 tsp of fresh orange zest.
  3. Simmer for 5 minutes at low heat, then keep aside.
  4. Add green tea in the same pan and let it steep for another 10 minutes.
  5. After 10 min strains the orange zest and green tea extract in a glass.
  6. Add stevia or honey in a glass.
  7. Stir the mixture.
  8. Add hot water as per your preference.
  9. You can also add some orange juice for taste, but it is optional
  10. Garnish the drink with a slice of orange in a glass.
  11. Consume immediately.
