Ask a few questions to yourself before starting meditation

How you are picturing yourself with meditation? Do you think that it really going to make good changes in your life? Will you able to take out time for this? When you have answers to these questions you will understand that it is necessary to learn meditation or not.

Let me tell you how I practice 5 minute meditation in my life. You must have heard this thing that we should keep our morning routine at a slow pace and enjoy little personal time in the morning. Why? Because the rest of the day is already planned and you will not get a chance to sit quietly as you will get in the morning.

Morning 5 Minute Meditation

I am morning person hence it’s not difficult for me to wake up early in the morning, but we can practice meditation at any time of the day. It’s just that morning is a perfect time to practice because you feel fresh, it’s a new day, a new beginning and the most important weather in the morning is very soothing. Also, early mornings are serene because there are not a lot of noise outside.

Just after having a hot cup of beverage, I gather myself. I sit and play mediation music on my phone. Then I close my eyes and start noticing my breathing pattern. After that I start breathing slowly I inhale and then exhale very slowly. It brings me in a state where I can focus on one thing.

I usually imagine myself nearby to a river where I dip my feet’s in the water. Then I feel my legs which are in direct contact with flowing water. I notice the sound of flowing water nothing else for a few minutes. then I feel the flowing water of the river is taking away all my worries and pain and leaving behind me in peace. I smile slowly and then I notice my surroundings and I enjoy nature and feel grateful for mother earth to provide me food and shelter. Then slowly I open my eyes. Sit for few more minutes and then I start my day. It takes only a few minutes but the results are very impactful.
